* Very thin horses will take more feed/suppliments to fatten up. The bill will be adjusted for that cause if need be.
**Supposing your horse arrived in need of a professional hoof trim, or with a bad case of thrush, etc., (conditions that may take more
than a week  to "cure"),  needs penicillin, veterinary care, or other oral medicines, then I will have to bill the client for the added
expense of the treatments.

**We can rasp chipped up hooves, or clip off chips on the hooves if they are not serious, at no cost to you. Any other farrier work will
be billed to the owner. Any of t
his would be discussed with you before taking action. Any trips to the veterinarian will be billed to the
owner, mileage included.

**We may work out deals with those that can provide their own hay during training stays.
**Prices can change with out notice, but for clients that are already in our service, we will inform immediately.

Colt Starting, Horse Training, Re-Schooling,
Boarding, Lessons, Sales and more!
~Our fee at SECLLC, for horse training is $550/month, $200 down, with a two
month minimum for unstarted horses and problem horses, unless otherwise
negotiated.
2011 is the first year we have raised our fee's. As all those with
horses/livestock
in the Oklahoma area know, hay is scarce and when found VERY
expensive. I have to accommodate for that also. I apologize for the inconvenience.

~All horses coming in will be expected to be UTD on vaccinations and strangles and
have a current Coggins test documented. Having their feet trimmed and the horse
de-wormed before he arrives is preferable.

THE FIRST THING I HEAR WHEN A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER CALLS ME IS: "I'll have too
much money sunk into my horse by the time I pay these fees!!" I understand your
concern, money is tight. You want your horse trained and ridable, but you don't like the
thought of putting out money for it. You can shop around, if you want cheap, I'm sure
you can find it. Your other option is to go pay for a well broke horse!

Not all that advertise have the experience or qualifications. The teenager down the road
may like to tinker on his car, but it doesn't make him a mechanic!
Think about it. Short
cuts and mistakes far out weigh in price what you would have originally paid for
in a job
done right.
Our monthly fee's include all  training, all feed and hay**,
stall/boarding (bedding, cleaning etc
.) turnout, care of horse
(grooming, bathing, etc)
, and the horse that stays for 90 days- a
tube of ivermectin de-wormer will be given sometime before he
goes home. Other general medicines and treatments, we may
cover within limits (
**see note below), **unless otherwise agreed
upon.

Your horses will be in good hands with us.
The same goes with horse training, so please be careful in your choice. There are many out there
advertising that don't have any more credentials than tinkering with horses. I have a list of satisfied and
repeat customers that can give you recommendations for my work.
The money you spend should be
used
wisely for your horse's well being and training. Proper care of a horse doesn't come cheap!
Consider what all is needed before deciding a price is "too high."
My personal training fees come
AFTER the needs of the horse: feed, hay, bedding, water, boarding (utilities), maintenance, etc., (and uncle
Sam's bite!)
All of that is besides the labor of the care, and all the time put in for training. Client's horses
at our place are not exposed to barbed wire, rotted boards, rusty nails, or run down stalls. We do not
turn them out with other horses (with out permission from the owner first). We go the extra mile to
make sure your horse(s) will be safe and sound during their stay with us. Be sure to check out the
facilities of those you are going to entrust with your horse's care before dropping it off. "Cheap" isn't a
good payoff if you end up paying a veterinarian to doctor your horse due to poor management.
If you
are
spending less for your horse's training stay, you had better make sure your horse is being managed
right
, kept safe, fed properly, cared for by a knowledgeable and responsible horse person AND trained
properly.
We don't mind what so ever to have our horse owners drop in to watch us work with their
horses. We expect you to!! We send email updates, pictures, take your phone calls willingly, and answer
your questions! We keep lawn chairs at our training areas just for YOU!! We have nothing to hide!!
